Default Yo, Lotus

Just (finally!) got over to Scotts shop and got a quote of $600 for front and back removal/paint and another $400 to paint/install my Stillen wing. Whew! I guess I gotta bite the bullet tho. I think the reason may be the three stage painting they have to do on the Le Mans. I'll let ya' know. Regards, Jim

Thanks for the info! Have any of you used the Nissan car cover? I unfortunately don't have a garage and this dust is horrible! Particularly this time of year. I have the CA duster, but wonder if the $200 investment is worth it?

lhapp,

I have a car cover, dealer threw it in. I haven't used it yet, though. However, I just sold my house, the new one won't be done until Christmas. I am staying with in-laws until then (pray for me and my Z). I'll be using it then and will let you know.

BTW, any Arizona Z clubs or get togethers?

Yup, we have a group called Desert Z Association of Arizona. We number about 100 members. We meet the first Wed. of the month @ 7pm at Scottsdale Nissan, in the back. That is between 64th and 70st on E. Mcdowell rd. We average 50 or so in attendance. My name is Jim Hayne and I will be there w/my Le Mans Touring. We have 5 - 7 350's so far. We are starting to kick around an informal 350 group for runs because there are at least a dozen or more owners here in the valley that are interested. Interested? Lets talk at the meeting if you can make it. Regards, Jim

Default Z club

Right on, Jim. I'm looking to meet some fellow Z owners. I'll make a meeting as soon as I can.

By the way, I saw the post of your new pics. You have a great looking car. Beautiful pics. You know, right before I bought my Z, I sold my 1969 RS/SS Camaro. It was Hugger Orange. I almost bought a LeMans, but I fell in love with the black Z I bought. It was the first Z I drove. It could have been any color and I would have bought it!

He, he, he! I understand the "falling in love" deal! Doesn't take much with the Z. I just spoke to a guy on Bell rd. today while waiting for the light. He was in a SB. Was that you by chance? Regards, Jim

No, unfortunately I have not been out having fun in my Z yet today

The real fun starts later when I teach my wife how to drive it...
