Default Cracked Windshield - need a fix fast

Guys,

Today on my way home a truck kicked something up and put about a 5 inch crack on the passenger side of my windshield, about 8 inches up from the dash. The big problem is I'm heading to Pueblo this weekend with NASA (and of course had my tech inspection done today). I'm not sure if I MUST fix it before going or not, it's really not a terribly bad crack.

So any recommendations where in town to get it fixed quickly?

Thanks,

Ross

Argh - talk about bad timing! From looking at your thread on the NASA board, it looks like you've got the situation under control. Keep us posted and let us know how it turns out.

Good luck!

Gary,

Yeah, I think I've got it taken car of, or will have by the end of the day. Just crappy crappy timing...

BTW I'm having it and clear bra done at SVE in Broomfield. I'll post back after it's done and let you all know how it went.

Umm...if I'm not mistaken, that's Dan Gurney's F1 Eagle from 1967.

Sorry- OT. Good luck on getting that windshield fixed, Ross. Let us know what the costs were (if possible), so we can compare.

Yeah, like dkmura said, that's not my Eagle (though I wish it were). That's a photo of the Eagle that Dan Gurney drove to victory at Spa in 1967 - I just like the car and the picture, and so decided to use it as my avatar.

I have had my windshield replaced twice. $460.00 the first time and 3 something the second time. Both OEM glass, not sure why it got cheaper.
