Default 2015 Colorado Track Night Out

SCCA Track Nights Out at High Plains Raceway

Thursday, June 18, 2015

Never been to the track? Want to check it out? Every SCCA Track Night will have a paced lap session, open to anyone and everyone. Passengers over the age of 12 are encouraged, and helmets are not required.

Novice Experience

The novice experience is perfect for those new to being on track, those who are at a particular track for the first time, or those who would just like to have some pointers and guidance during the evening.

Intermediate

The intermediate group is a bit more relaxed than the advanced group. The expectation is that these drivers know the basics, but have a focus on improving and learning.

Advanced

If you know the track, your car, yourself, and you want to feel the limits of each, advanced group is your group. The same DOs and DON’Ts and passing rules apply, but the pace is turned up a bit from the intermediate group.

Starting Line Track School

If you’ve always wanted to get on track, but didn’t know where to start, the SCCA Starting Line Track School is for you. Your instructors will help you from check in to the track and at every step along the way. Our goal is to get you up to the speed where you feel comfortable and confident so that you are ready for your Track Night in America sessions.

Fast Pass

Fast Pass is the fastest way to get you on track. Available to intermediate and advanced group drivers, Fast Pass is the no fuss, no mess, no wasting time in meetings, experience that you have been waiting for.

Run/Work

Taken from autocross, Run/Work lets SCCA members get one on track session at a very budget friendly rate while also offering support to the event. Event support can range from corner working, to grid, to check in and tech.

Gates open at 3pm, on-track activities start at 4pm

Can’t make it this time? There is another Track Night in America at High Plains Raceway scheduled for July 16th and again on August 20th. Mark your calendars.

any idea if SCCA softens their stance on 350 roadsters for this event?

Not sure- but SCCA is trying hard to attract a good entry for this concept. Might want to post a question on their website to check on this. Here's a link:

Use the contact button at the top of the page and the "Ask Jack" section to send it. Don't forget to let the rest of us know what the answer is!

Wow- crickets? Call 'em: (800) 770-2055 during the week and ask to talk with the Track Night Out coordinator.
