Default BSpeed May Meeting

Here we are again, in the month of May, and setting the date for a meeting.

We'll try something a little bit different this time, day-wise that is.

Sunday, May 9th at Dave and Busters, 3pm.

There seems to be some confusion as to the age that you are allowed to be inside D&B's. I have called them, and they assure me that I will not have any trouble getting folks in that are under 21, as long as there are folks over 21 with them. As we are a club, with several 'Older' folks here, we don't have a problem.

If it continues to rise as a situation, then we'll discuss another place to meet that is central to the folks in and around the city.

We have several options coming up as the weather continues to get nicer.

One of them is a Wednesday evening track night at Bandimere Speedway. Every Wednesday evening, the State Patrol has it's 'Alive at 25' event for folks to test and tune their rides legally, and off the streets.

As mentioned before, street racing is not condoned or encouraged due to it's dangerous nature.

Let's have a Wednesday night run up there, on May 19th. We can meet there, as soon as we all get off of work, as they have the time trials from 4:30pm to whenever. They say until 8:45pm, but I've heard later than that. We can grab some dinner after that, if everyone is up for it.

Second, a pre-run up Pikes Peak on June 5th. We'll be driving up there to pick a good spot for the actual Pike's Peak Hill Climb on June 26th.

Let's meet for breakfast at Le Peep (they have something for everyone!) at 8am on Saturday morning (June 5th). It's the one at 1699 S. Colorado Blvd. We'll discuss this as well at the May 9th meeting.
So, meeting on May 9th, Bandimere run on May 19th and a Pikes Peak run on June 5th for the big Hill Climb Rally on June 26th.

Be safe everyone.

Allen

I'm in for the Dave and Busters meet on Sunday. I assume it's the one on Colorado and I-25. Are we going to meet somewhere inside, or should me meet somewhere in the parking lot or garage?

Bandimere sonds cool too.

Yeah, we'll meet outside, in the parking lot @ 3pm. So that some of our younger members can meet up and get in (under 21 crowd). Towards the back of the parking lot, or wherever possible really, is where we'll probably be.

Quit teasing Don!

I don't want to speak for the organizer (Cyclemut), but I think that everyone is welcome to go. I invited myself.

I'll definately be there. Is it the Dave and Busters at Colorado and I-25? Just want to make sure I don't end up going to the wrong one.

I've wanted to hang with some Z owners for a long time, but usually work the weekends. So, this Sunday I have off for a welcome change and would love to attend. I live in Colorado Springs and unless I'm holding tickets to an Avs game, I don't travel to Denver, can someone help me out with where Dave and Buster's is located?

Allen - One of these days I hope to be able to make it to one of your meetings. Unfortunately I have a conflict this weekend (but at least it's car-related.)

Sounds like you'll have a big meeting. Have fun!

From Colorado Springs to the Denver Dave and Busters, go North on I-25 to Colorado Blvd exit, this is a little after I-25 starts going in the Northwest direction. If you see the DU center or that weird yellow stair like scupture you've gone too far. Head south on Colorado. Dave and Busters comes up pretty quick on your left side. I don't know the name of the street to turn on, but you'll be able to see the signs for Dave and Busters and the movie theater. There is a stop light for the street. If you reach the intersection with the Albertsons you've gone too far. Hope this helps.

This is directions to the Denver Dave and Busters on Colorado and I-25. This is the one that I am assuming we are meeting at, not the Westmister one. Is my assumption correct?

Yes everyone, it's the one at Colorado and I-25.

Everyone is welcome to come! It's any (and all) Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. No discrimination here.

We'll be parking at the top of the parking garage, that is to say, the uppermost level. Should be pretty empty up there, and good for a couple of photos as well.

Looking forwards to meeting everyone.

Hope you can make a couple of the runs there Gary (and everyone) as I know those will be fun as well. Especially the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Would love to make it this Sunday but like Gary, I will be at Second Creek on Sunday. I guess I really got addicted after our little track session at La Junta....... I'll try and make it one of the days you have planned though. Keep us informed!!!!

Sorry I couldn't make it guys. I really, really wanted to but it was mother's day and I had to spend the day with my mother. So next time I would suggest not to have an event/get together on an important holiday or family day. I would have mentioned it earleir but didn't realize it till it was too late. Anyhow hope everyone had fun and hope to see you all soon.

Not a problem there Chris. Most of us did the Family thing early in the day, breakfast thing and all. Then some had to leave a bit early for the dinner thing.

It's all good.

If you're interested, we're going to Bandimere Raceway on the 19th of May for Test and Tune night.

Love to see you there, show some of them guys what a 350Z is capable of.

Cyclemut............you might want to start a second thread for this Bandimere event. I know I told everyone that we would try and plan a night out there sometime this summer, maybe we can just make it the date on the 17th.
I know there was quite a bit of interest with the Z guys when I have brought it up.
If there will be a decent turnout of 350Z's I'll be there. If not I probably won't come out due to the fact that I already race there just about every weekend.
