Default Dyno Day in Phoenix

Intense Motorsports will be holding a dyno on Saturday, June 5. Details:

When:

Saturday, June 5, 2004. Starting at 4pm sharp. This will be an evening event to keep temperatures down.

Where:

Intense Motorsports Racing
240 N. Sunway Dr., Suite #101
Gilbert, AZ 85233

Elliot and McQueen in Gilbert, behind Honda Service Center of Gilbert.

Who:

Anyone who is interested in dyno'ing their cars. Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Chevy, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini etc...

How Much:

$45 for a minimum of 2, but most likely 3 runs depending on how many people show up. $10 extra for A/F meter.

Few points:

-Intense is letting us borrow their shop, so please respect their stuff! No leaning on cars, no setting drinks on cars, no stealing or picking anything up without their permission and pick up trash.

-Intense has excellent prices on parts for any import car on the market. Feel free to inquire in the showroom with the sales reps. about any parts you may want/need. They also have a large inventory of parts, excessive amounts of 350Z stuff in stock actually.

-If enough people show interest, drinks and possibly food will be provided. Still tentative.

-This is intended to be a night-time event, but they have pretty good cooling inside the shop/dyno area so we're starting earlier at 4pm. Even if it's hot outside, it'll be nice in the shop.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Post this on as many forums as you feel like, the more the merrier.

Fortunately the dyno is located inside the shop. I was at Intense at 5:00 last Friday, and the temperature at the dyno pc (inside the shop) was 84 degrees. I'm running the dyno day, no way in hell would i do it if it was 105 degrees inside the shop.

I think I might try to con the wife into coming out to meet some folks.
As we only have a wimpy lil CAI on the Z so far, I don't think I wanna be embarrased by a dyno run.
Wouldn't mind bringin the Jeep over there, but I don't think you guys would appreciate that in the mix.

you can come over in anything you want! i'll be running the dyno and testing all the cars on the dyno so i should be easy to spot.. come up and introduce yourself! my name is brady, by the way.

i am taking my Z but it's doubtful i'll dyno it, it's only up to 500 miles on the odo., i want to see if i can make it to 1000 before beating on it.
