Cool Getting Clearbra installed next Thursday!

I finally got a call back from envisagelabs in Torrance. I hope I don't get any silly surprise meetings at work next week.

How long did it take you guys to have it done? I usually take up to 2.5 hours on my lunch.

Depends on what you're getting done. Mine took about 3.5 hours.

Around 2-3 bills + labor. I hear they are the best in town so it's up to you whether you want to shop around.

I had my work done there as well and it probably took about 2 hours or so. I had the bumper, headlights and a custom cut done for my hood, cost around $500. They do a great job! My first mod and I still constantly get good comments from people on it.

Yah It takes about a hour for the bumper and another half for the headlights but remember your protecting an couple of grand $$$$ for new headlights, paint ,parts and Time getting repainted.. You should squeeze in the mirrors if you have time. They take some pretty good hits on the road.

How is the work for envisagelabs? I remember seeing / reading good things about them in other posts, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the clearbra done soon. Gotta protect the black paint while its new... 650 miles and already some slight chipping. If anyone can, what is the number and address of the place?

www.transparentbra.com If you are sure you want a clear bra (some ppl dont like the way it looks on SB since its more visible), get it done ASAP otherwise its not worth doing IMO. I had mine done 4 days after I got the car and there were a few nicks even in that short amount of time!!

I'm just going for the front bumper this Saturday, maybe the hood if the bumper comes out okay.

Otherwise, I'm just going to have to watch out for those trucks.

Hey guys,

Sorry to sound incompetent but don't all clear bras come in black? One of the auto specialist at my dealer say they have clear bras that are invisible so you won't even be able to tell you have it on.

Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks, newbie.

At Envisage, don't they use the 3M tape kinda like saran wrap to cover the bumper? That's what my friend says.

I got moldings for the underside of my doors and the fenders. It looks kinda weird b/c the moldings are black and my car is white. Anybody have these moldings on their car and does it help to repel rocks and pebbles???

My friend told me to take those moldings off! I might.

I just got it done today woohoo!

Yes it's 3M brand. I did the bumper, mirror and headlights. The job was done in under 2.5 hours. It is very symmetrical and clean. You can barely tell it's there. The mirror was cut in two pieces for front and top. 80 percent of the bottom light is covered. The reflection is slightly different but not noticeable unless you stick your face next to it. Great job at Envisage Design Labs.

I wish I done it earlier I have a bunch of chips buried underneath.

I'll post pics tonight.

I just got my Gialla grill custom wrapped today by Edre. While I was there a celebrity's Ferrari 360 Stradale was parked right outside. These guys are seriously the best in town. If they are qualified to do Lamborghini's and Carerra Gt's and Enzo's then i'm sure they're more than qualified enough to do our 350z's and G35's!

Why is it more noticeable on SB? I'm looking to get it done pretty soon.
