I don't know what a black clrear bra is, but when they put mine on, Envisage said they have to use a different material for whites that resists yellowing. After a year of driving I would say mine is ever so slightly yellowed, but still barely noticeable, and a heck of a lot better than none.

In a previous thread a few monhts ago I posted a close call that I had with a three foot piece of tire peel on the freeway. That thing left black marks all over the front nose of the car, but with alcohol and a lot of elbow grease, it eventually came off. I'm sure if I didn't have the clear bra on, it would have turned into a paint job.

Frenzee, one of the auto specialist at the dealer told me that they are making a clear bra that is invisible for the 350Z. I might go with that instead of a black clear bra. Thanks for all the info. and feedback fellas. Hope to see you on the road.

But once you mastered the manual, it will be so easy. Just like taking a pee .

Yeah, I wish it is that easy. Driving manual is like taking a wiz. I wouldn't have to concentrate so hard like trying to aim for the toilet.

At Envisage, don't they use the 3M tape kinda like saran wrap to cover the bumper? That's what my friend says.

I got moldings for the underside of my doors and the fenders. It looks kinda weird b/c the moldings are black and my car is white. Anybody have these moldings on their car and does it help to repel rocks and pebbles???

My friend told me to take those moldings off! I might.

600 miles and counting. Getting much better and calming my nerves.

This car sure has a lot of POWER. This is my 1st rear wheel drive and I almost fished tailed when I gunned it on a left turn. I can feel the back of my car was moving to the right. On the freeway today going about 80 mph, a little twisty, and I accelerated and felt like I almost lost control of the car for a sec.

Damn, the horspower and torque is scary. I'm going to have to tame it and get use to soo much POWER! Good thing I have full coverage and GAP insurance. Might consider Life Insurance...haha
But seriously, I'm a responsible driver. Always safety first!

Question: Does anybody ever shift from 1st to 2nd to 4th and then 6th? Skipping 3rd and 5th. Would this damage the engine?

Still practicing on downshifting and trying to get used to it. This car sure is a lot of fun top down or up. It puts a smile on my face everytime I see my baby. And when I see other 350Z or ZR's I can't help but stare at their car. I'm mesmerized and hooked!
