What's up everyone. I just bought a Nismo lip for my car and was wondering if anyone knows of a good shop in So Cal to paint it and my front bumper. I live in Downey but i work in Irvine so if anyone knows of shops around my parts I would appriciate it.

Try Mobworks in the city of orange .They have done alot of nice cars. pm me if u get it done and for how much. Im thinking of getting same thing done.

 

I will try to get a quote tommorow. I just ordered my lip on friday so it may be a little before i get it.

Anyone else have any suggestions? I want to get a few quotes.

MOB finished my nismo kit a few weeks back, they do a really good job.

 

Where is MOB located?

 

Oh and i will let you guys know price and everything as I find out.

Well I just got a call from Andy with Performance Nissan. I guess the nismo lip is in stock over there and it's ready to be picked up. I asked them to paint it for me so it'll be ready in a couple of days. Andy quoted me $250 for prep and paint, I was a little hesisitant casue i didn't really shop around for price but screw it it's gonna be painted at the dealership better chance of it matching. Hope this helps those of you looking for price on paint/install etc.

 

front, sides, bottom rears..........700 installed, they ended up having to paint it twice. I have PPW and the dupont paint guide it did not match for some reason. I ended up leaving my Gas cover off to help.

 

Damn maybe I am getting shafted price wise on paint? Or maybe you got a better deal because of the multiple pieces vs my 1 piece. Oh well we will see how the paint job is when i get it (hopefully this friday).

I do want to say that Performance Nissan is looking out for us by following up on orders and such. I thought it was pretty cool that Andy called me today and asked if i wanted to pick up the lip rather than ship b/c pricewise i would have been jacked. If you read this Andy sorry i hung up on you the first time i get alot of telemarketers calling and when you didn't know who to ask for i was like "man another telemarketer...click!!"

 

hey SoCal350 are your Nismo sides/rear pieces fiberglass or urethane? just curious?

 

They are the real deal Nismo......urethane from our friends at performance nissan.

 

nice!!! Hopefully one day I'll have the whole kit too!
