Default auto glass shop

The crack on my windshield is getting bigger and it starts to annoy me. I need to know if anyone can recommend a auto glass shop that can replace my windshield with PPG windshield. I'm from long beach.. don't want to pay too much for it though. thanks in advance

I'm assuming the crack is larger than a size of a quarter? In any case, I had my windshield (a couple of cars back) replaced by Safelite. They are mobile and come to your location.

Mine cracked last year from a rock that flew off of a Z32. I took it to the dealer (Performace) and they had this 2 guys come by and did the work at the dealer. Of course I did give'em the 3rd degree before they touched the car: How many Z's have you done, etc. Cost about $700 and it was factory glass. I think PPG was available at a slightly lower price. I could probably have saved some bucks going somewhere else, but I was more comfortable that the work was being done at the dealership, even though someone else was doing the work. If you call Frank at Performance, I'm sure he can give you their name and number. Hope this helps.

I ended up using a place in Santa Fe Springs or Bellflower called Sinoloa Glass... They are cheap and use PPG glass... I was pretty happy with it.

thanks for all the response. I got quoted $200 from safelite including the wiper blade replacement, those dots on the upper portion on the windshield, lifetime warranty on their work and their own windshield. my appointment is today between 12-5pm so i guess i'll just have to wait for them to come by.
