Thumbs up Its Official and You're Invited!!!

As of today, its official!! Im now a proud new homeowner and half a mil in debt...lol

Event: Brians house warming party

Location: Temecula (out by the wineries)

Date: Sunday, August 7th from noon to 6pm

Do bring: Beer and/or soda

I will provide all the barbeque you can eat but side dishes are appreciated.

Even though this is a house warming party, I dont expect any gifts. I do appreciate the thought though if you do want to bring something. I will PM everyone on the final list the directions to my house as the date approaches (I dont want to be beaming my address into cyberspace after all). For now, I will copy the list that was started in my "pics of my new house thread and will also bump that thread as a reminder since its been a couple weeks. By the way, I met 5 cute little latinas at a bar earlier while celebrating that will be there as well.

Welcome to the Inland Empire and hot summers.

If you're into AA baseball check out the Lake Elisonore Storm for a really family friendly statium and a good time for not too much money.

Congrats Brian on closing the deal with your house. OT: You still going to be bowling in the league on Thurdays now that your commute will be longer? I'm still looking for a league to join and if you know of any hit me up. -Jimmy-

Had to let the cat out of the bag didnt you.

What Jon is talking about is...well...hmmm.
Well, my Z had the tranny replaced twice before I recently noticed a 6th gear grind about once a day. So, today I did the unthinkable and traded my Z in. I had a lot of great times in that car and have met a lot of really great people, but all things must come to an end. I was at first going to part out my mods and return the car to stock, but I decided to see what a dealership would give me first. I can talk pretty mad game and actually got a pretty decent trade in price on my '03 touring ($27,000) with the mods that I only paid about 4k for total. So I did it, and I am now a proud owner of a brand new '05 GMC Yukon. The truck right now just fits my needs a little better. I am a drummer so I can actually haul my gear around in it. My 9-5 is in the insurance industry and I am often times a field rep so not having to shift between 1st and 2nd gear for 30 miles up and down the 405fwy works out as well. I will continue to post on this board because I have made a lot of friends here!! As for my new SUV....let the games begin!! Im planning on dubbing it, bagging it, and putting a grip of other digital kid gear in it.

I look forward to seeing all of you out at my housewarming party on the 7th...and who knows, maybe another Z is in my future (but a 5at roadster this time)!!

Hah damn, that sucks! I bet B-Unit woulda given u a pretty penny for those seats!

That trek in traffic really gets old with a manual, u will be a lot more comfortable in the SUV. The only thing that will suck is the fact it may cost you $20 a day in gas!

Im hoping to make it to your party, but unfortunately im tentative for everything these days!

oh wow... I kept seeing you on 405 north (when I go 405 south) but no more, eh. I guess you are still invited to the canyon runs in your Yukon, if you can take those twisties in that big ol thing.

^^Freaking hilarious!!! You painted one funny **** picture!

Congrats on the house and think of it this way, you are no longer modifying the Z, but mod'ng your home that will only give you more as an investment as it gets older!

Good luck!
