Default The Search for Oil...a continuing Saga...

I posted that in the fI forum as well

ok, I'm supposed to get Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W40 for my TT setup but for the heck of it I can't find a place that sells it. The only synthetic 10W40 I found was Castrol Synthec and I have no idea if that's any good or not. The only Mobil 1 synthetic I found was 10W30...

What to do? Anyone know a place in the valley that sells Mobil 1 Synthetic 10w40?

Have you tried to "special order" from PepBoys? I don't know if its even possible, but I know most of the time you can order parts from them when they're not available. You might have to purchase a case at a time, but that shouldn't be a problem either being that you're gonna need it anyway.

I ended up ordering the AMSoil but that still hasn't shipped...
I was able to find 10W40 Castrol Synthec which I guess will have to do this time, since I only got this saturday to get it done.

Motul is just too expensive.

I do have to start looking for some sponsors, well hopefully I'll do ok at IDRC in November to get some companies interested.

Default Metro Infiniti

Hey Tomcat.. Try Metro Infiniti in Monrovia/Duarte.. I go there for my oil changes... Mobil 1 synthetic 10W40 everytime. You may be able to get it from Performance Nissan also.. It's right down the street from Metro.

Perf nissan does not have it but they are doing my oil change so Metro sounds like a great place to get it.

Thanks
