I have a set of G35 18"s with tires (80% treads left). Anybody want to trade their Tourings 18's / W Tires?

Hi Leather Face.. I'm running a set of 245/45/18's all around on 350Z Six Spoke Touring's - however the APS sensors have been removed.. These are on my old Red 96 Maxima the balance is good. Special balancing by AutoBac's in Stanton 10/32's all around. Driver Rear is a Toyo 245/45/18 rest are Bridgestone - rear 350Z tires.. Wear 140.

I like those G35C 18 Rim's - but I don't think what I have would be good for you.

Cheers Amy -

Hey Amy, were you the one that had an accident to your silver Z? Didn't you worked for Streetimage before? But anyways, Why are you running 245 in the front too? I thought it's 225 front and 245 rears? How much tread you still have on the tires? How is the condition of your Z touring rims? Let me know, I might be interested.

Smile Clarification

?? Hey Amy, were you the one that had an accident to your silver Z?

Yes I let a Girl take it around the block - with my buddy Jeff So riding shot-gun. She made 3 corners fine. Forth turn ABS Lock-up - She was straight in lane 2, took her over lane one and into a Trail Blaser in the opposing left turn lane.

?? Didn't you worked for Streetimage before?
Never worked for Street Image - But we socialize.

?? But anyways, Why are you running 245 in the front too? I thought it's 225 front and 245 rears?
Yes the 225f/245r is stock on the Z, But I have these on a 1996 Maxima GLE.

I burned a new set of 225fronts in 15,000 miles - not acceptable. So I bought a set of rear 350Z 245/45/18 near new and put them on the front of the MAX - I had AutoBacs use thier 9700 Super Duper wheel balancer - What a difference.

I often take the max to about 130mph, feeling safe as the tires are rated to 180mph. 245/45/18 All Corners - feel real stable at speed.

?? How much tread you still have on the tires?
9/32 front - 8/32 right rear BS, and 9/32 Driver rear ( It is a Toyo TS1 Proxies Series tire.
How is the condition of your Z touring rims?
Good apperance - minor nicks from a total of 30K miles
They are 8 inch wide front and back.

I have admired the 18 G35Coupe wheels. Seven Spoke and Chromed ( Am I correct?)

Be advised the APS Air Pressure Sensors have been removed.

?? Let me know, I might be interested. So you are running 3 different brand tires???

No two brands. 3 245/45/18 bridgestone - Left rear Drivers side is a Toyo TS1 Proxie
I should have been a big spender and bought 3 additional Toyo's and been done. But Mr TomCat made me a deal I could not refuse.

Cheers Amy -

Humm, I'll take a few when the sun comes out.

Sho:

Maxima handles easy at cruise, a little light at speed. At slower freeway speeds, taking of the overdrive ( 4th ) and going to 3rd keeps the engine from bogging. The 245/45/18 fronts are quite a bit larger in diameter than stock. The Max still can't corner like a Z, as the Caster is very shallow at about 3 Degrees.

Sho ? He is a good buddy of mine from the South Bay.

Two of the wheel's and one of the tires were from a swap we did last year.

Sorry I havn't posted those pictures, of the Max and wheels - Actually the Right front wheel - now shows a lite curb rash..

Perhaps some one has a set of Primo Touring Six Spokes Rims - That you can move your 80% tires to.

I'm driving pretty smoothly well with 245/45/18's at all four corners, and like the look of the Six Spoke touring's on the MAxima..

I guess I should't make a change at this time.

Cheers Amy =
