Well, my lease on the Z was almost at an end. Due to a major job change coming up, I would be putting some serious miles on the Z, and the buyout financing wasn't too good; so I (horrors!) ended the lease. Did not see much of a choice in the matter. Anyone who is looking for a really nice 2003 Redline 350Z with a 5 AT, nice 19" wheels and tires, and a big brake kit, it is over at Power Nissan in Torrance.

However, I did stay in the Nissan family, and got the Z's bigger brother, an Altima. I know you are thinking how could I get this grocery getter, but it's not just an Altima, its an Sheen Silver SE-R version...260HP VQ35 with a 5AT, 18" forged wheels and a factory upgraded brake kit and NISMO suspension tweeks. This car has some serious get up and go, and is real comfortable to boot. Has seats almost like the 350's, but just more room for the 100 miles a day I will be driving. Also, I don't think I will see very many SE-R's on the road, as it was really hard finding this one. Did get a killer deal, paid true dealer invoice and 3% financing.

Anyway, I will continue to be on the board, and hope to hang out with you all at the next meet (if you can handle being seen near a 4 door "grandma's" car!)

Jeff... too bad you parted with your Z... ummm... should've take off those parts and sold them separately... esp that big brake kit.

But welcome to the Altima family. I don't have an SE-R but have a 250hp 3.5L. hahaha.

Wow Jeff I had a 3.5 silver Altima before the Z and I recently drove the SE-R and was impressed. The pickup on that car is extremely good.......I'll miss seeing you in the Z but your still part of our Nissan Family.....Ed
