Angry This Rain SUCKS!

I know we need it, but it still sucks.

I found myself driving the Z to work in the rain this past week...even though i said it would never see rain-

The night before, i had installed a grounding kit, and I was too excited not to drive the next day. Once at work, i did a once-over to see how the wet roads make their mark. I found a bunch of crud had found its way under the door sill, right beneath the kick plates.

Other than that, i'm glad i have the splash guards.

Your telling me. Got my Z Thursday night and haven't had a chance to really drive it. The longest drive I had was from the dealer to my house.

Yeah hella bummed about the rain. I was hoping to go for a cruise today before I left to visit my family for x-mas but the rain stopped me from going out.

I guess the good thing is that there's nice snow in LA now... too bad I won't be able to visit that till next Sat./Sun.

Anyone taking advantage of the weather and going to the slopes? Itching to go boarding. I haven't seen powder in 6 years...

There's a definite difference. I bought the kit from insaneamine.

2 majors:

1. Smoother idle and throttle response. The tach needle rests a tad under 500rpm's. Prior to, it was between 5 -1K, and it jumped around +- 50 or so when idling. Now, it's solid.

2. Under WOT acceleration, i would experience major hesitation after shifting into the next gear. (2-3, floor it, and hesitation would come on) Now, it's smooth as silk..it's as if you are sitting at a stoplight and revving.

I feel you...1 1/2 weeks after I got the car, I got rear ended...now it's sitting in an autoshop.

Excuse my ignorance, but what grounding-kit are you guys talking about?

Don't get around much on the board, eh?

Look under, "modifications - performance".

There's a thread with at least 9 pages under it.

I frequent that section a little bit, but I just completely missed it.

Thanks for the heads up.
