Default Fully Functional Harness bar Group Buy!!!

I talked to the owner of Rally Innovations, and he is willing to do a group buy for his Z bars. He has done cages and harness bars for many cars including Mr. Ken Gushi and Mr. Ferdie Ang to name a few. The group buy price will be $450.00. The standard colors are Semi gloss black, metallic silver, and gunmetal. He can also do custom colors but there will be an additional $50.00 fee for custom colors. Don't be fooled by other bars for this one is a fully functional harness bar and it serves as a center brace.

Here are the specs:
1. Chromoly Material
- .120 wall thickness
-1 1/4" diameter
2. Steel heim joints (For maximum adjustability and ease of install)
3. Bolts into OEM locations
4. Includes 5/16" threaded nut insert for camera mount or whatever you would like to mount
5. All hardware included
6. No cutting or welding
7. Installation time 10-15 mins
8. Stock seatbelt bolts back into OEM position
9. Accessories for bar soon to be available (ie. - fire extinguisher holder)
10. Trunk and all compartments fully accessible
11. Harness slots located in rear for aesthetics and functionality
12. PATENT PENDING!!!

*For so cal Z owners who get this bar, he is also willing to do free installation if you want to come down and get it installed at Rally Innovations*

Here are pics of it installed in semi gloss black:

Once again, theres also a mount for a camera on it or what ever you would like. It's the nut on the top of the bar in the rear. Also, its not pictured but please don't forget the Harness Slots are in the back of the bar, their not pictured but they are there, i'll try to get pictures of them later.

Why this bar and not others?
Avalon bar $325.00 not shipped, seatbelts do not go in OEM position, no harness slots, and pivots too much, loss of visibilty due to thickness and placement of bar, no accessories.
BCR Harness bar $500.00 not including tax, pricey, have to cut into rear carpet, and little functionality, engineering has to much pivot ability.

More pics to come later!!! If you want to see the bar in person, come to the toys for tots show on sunday and you can see it in the Z and feel just how functional it is.

Interesting design.

"BCR Harness bar .....little functionality, engineering has to much pivot ability." What do you base this incorrect assumption on?

Seems to me this one is going to pivot MUCH more than the Avalon bar which has NO pivot points like this design. BAH!
I'd go Avalon or BCR.

Yes they make roll cages...I dunno if they are NHRA compatible. But this is a group buy for the harness bar, I dunno if he's gonna produce a rollcage.

To each his own...i respect your decision, its just that the avalon bar doesn't have harness slots so your harnesses can easily move around, and theres nothing to stop the actual bar from pivoting. If you want to see just how sturdy this bar really is come out to the toys for tots show or a GTG and i should be there and you can see for yourself.

I believe he's charging $550.00. The $450.00 price is for the bar installed socal only. He does alot of peopes bars and cages as I stated before, this was more of a favor, because I didn't like any other bar I wanted one that was fully functional and stable and would like to offer it to my felly my350z owners as well. I convinced him to at least make ten for us...if not more in the future.

By the design and the placement of the rear hinges. I may be wrong and you may be right but just being a physics type of guy and into engineering design it seems like it would pivot. IMHO I believe the BCR bar is 10x better than the Avalon bar however, I think this one finishes it up. Like I said, i'm not here to flame on anyone or any company, my apologies if it came off that way, just wanted to offer an awesome bar to the my350z community, if you don't like this bar and like the BCR or Avalon bar that's fine...this is for those that are interested.

Here are some pics of the bar I took today for Jon at the Toys For Tots Car Show. I'm not an expert, but this bar is very very solid and fully functional. I pulled and yanked as hard as I could on the bar and it would not even jiggle.

BTW, congrats Jon for your 1st Place trophy in the 350Z category!

That bar looks nice but the stays are right where I would rock my arm when I have my hand on the shifter...
