Depends on age and driving record and in some cases based on zip codes ( I may be wrong about zip codes ).

It also depends on whether you have multiple car discount or homeowners discounts. There are a ton of things that go into it. Age, driving record, how many miles you drive, where you lice, garage parked, alarm, ect... Everyone is going to pay very different amounts.

CA is trying to pass some legislation now though that would make it illegal to base rates on where you live b/c what is happening is the people who can least afford it (in the low income areas) end up having the highest rates. I doubt this will pass though.

GEICO will also give you an on-line quote.

I pay $620 a year for really good coverage but have a good driving record and I'm an old fart.
