UPDATE... The Santa Monica meeting point will be at Virginia Ave Park on Cloverfield Ave and Pico Bl. NOT vons
so for those how are taking the 10w, just exit on cloverfield, make a left of the exit and drive for a few blocks untill you would see pico blvd

They just did a lot of work at this park, it used to be pretty shabby, but it's pretty nice now. It's like two or three blocks east of Santa Monica College for those of you that don't know the area.

Update on Virginia Park
I did a check on the Virginia Ave Park web site to make sure there were no events for Sunday morning that would conflict with what we're doing. I found none, but what I did discover was that SMPD has a brand new sub-station at the park.

This shouldn't pose a problem for us. As long as we follow simple common sense rules everything should be fine.
1. No speeding
2. No revving engines
3. No loud music
It's a public park open to everyone on a first come first serve basis. I checked out the posted rules when I scouted the park. As long as we keep our numbers under 150 people we don't need a permit. So we're OK.
xplo310, I notice your a resident of SM. Do you have any info to add about Virginia Ave Park?
If there's any questions, fire away. If not, see you all Sunday. I'm excited. This thing really seems to be snowballing. If everyone follows thru we may see about 40 cars.
