Scott, that's great that you are posting this!
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this time around...
but I recommend to others greatly!!!
And make sure to have Scott ride with you! This is a MUST!
Have fun guys!

Will there be any grouping based on driving experience?
I usually run advanced at Streets of Willow but I've never been to Buttonwillow and I would like to go and get some instruction around the track but I'm not really interested in skidpad exercises.
Or some information on the day's agenda will help me to decide.
Thanks!

Well, I just realized today that I'll still be on a plane during this clinic, so I won't be able to join you after all. If my flight plans change, I'll try to make it.
jimster716 - They do have "returning" and "beginner" groups. You can discuss with Les your desire to be in the former. Instructors are available and recommended for either group, and during the first session of the morning and afternoon you will ride with an instructor for a couple of slow orientation laps. In the morning, the track is normally divided in two in order to run beginners and returning folks simultaneously. In the afternoon, both groups alternate on the entire track. The skid pad exercises have been entirely optional the past few years.
Chebosto - I have no idea why the price went up. I know my cut remains the same...

Hey scott, thanks for the heads up on this. I just got back from the HPDE and it was great. There were 5 350Zs and 1 G35 + 1 350Z of someone who worked there (maybe an instructor? I didn't get to meet him/her). A lot of other great cars there too. Sorry no pics.
Definitely recommended for everyone, very relaxed atmosphere, drive as fast or as slow as you want (but you're gonna wanna drive fast). I have read and heard how great the Z handles but I had NO IDEA until today. Awesome instructors especially Hartley who really took the time to show me the track and the limits of my stock Z. Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!

I'm glad you guys had a great time. I realize that I have a bias towards the BW program, but I do believe it's one of the best experiences for drivers new to the track environment. Sorry I couldn't be there to help this time.
