Default Fine Dining In SoCal?

I'm running out of nice places to go. I'm looking for some recommendations on some upscale places in socal. I've prolly been to most of them, but there's gotta be a handful of places that I haven't covered.

If you dont already have one, I would buy an Entertainment book. http://entertainment.com/discount/home.shtml

Not only do you essentially get 2 for 1 at really nice restaurants, but it gives you ideas on new places to go. Best of all, its really discrete at the fine dining places. When you pay for your check with a credit card, you just slip your Entertainment card right underneath and your date wont even see

Best of both worlds!

There is a fantastic Scottish Restaurant in SoCal. The fare is a culinary masterpiece. The service is first class. And the ambiance is second to none. I wish I could remember the name of the place???

Oh yeah...

Now I remember the name of the Scottish Restaurant,

MacDonalds.

Tell the maitre d' I sent you.

He should be able to get you the booth next to the clown. Very romantic.

Smile Ruth Chris Steak House - California

If you have Online Reservations

http://www.ruthschris.com/menu/menu.html

Move your mouse over the plates in the "Back" to get the lobster.. Great Web Site.

Cheers Amy -

I heard they will add one in Huntinton Beach Soon
The one in Anahiem will open very soon. Near Disneyland.

So what places do you frequent and what do you recommend.

I like mastros and ruth chris for steak. I still like matsuhisa even though some say it's not as good as before. Koi and crustacean has decent food, along with good ambiance.

Anyone have any leads or info on the "secret kobe" restaurant in L.A.
