Official Clippers thread -
Now that Lakers have lost their chance for a cross town meeting. Hopefully the Clipppers will take care business and send the Suns set back to Phoenix.
Well since the Lakers are gone. I'll admit it. I'm jumping on the Clipper bandwagon. Only beacuse they are a LA team. I haven't been a Clipper fan all my life all of a sudden, which i'm sure you'll find a lot of people now saying but yah. GO CLIPPERS!

I am glad to see the Clippers where they are. The above posts are one of the main reason I do not like the Lakers though. So many people that are die hard Laker fans who do not like the Clippers will now switch and root for the Clippers. If you are a die hard fan that is kind of like a Yankee fan rooting for the Mets. So many people in LA are fair weather fans. THAT IS AN ISSUE!!!
I'm a, "die hard" laker fan and i'll still root for the Clippers. They're a LA Team so why not support my home town.
Its perfectly okay for people to root for the Clippers who were initially rooting for the lakers. When your favorite team gets knocked out your supposed to have a runner up team that you would like to see go all the way. With most people in LA that next team just happens to be the one in the same city. =)

This topic being made after the Lakers get knocked out proves to me that none of you are Clipper fans so any post being made in this topic is BS.
No, then you're not a "die hard" Laker fan. When your team gets knocked out, you root for no team.

Thats right, if you are a die hard fan you root for no one else. It proves my point LA fans for the most part are fairweather and they will switch at the drop of a hat. I am not a Clipper fan nor do I have a team that I root for, I enjoy the sport and all the teams, I like watching good B-ball. I would rather watch a home team go farther though. However if I did have a team, I would not root for the Clippers no matter what.
Steve Kerr's
Take Clippers vs. Suns
Cassell is a big-game shooter but he doesn't defend much. Nash should be able to control the game on offense.
Backcourt
The Suns just faced a team that tried to pound them inside. But that team didn't have Brand and Kaman.
Frontcourt
Barbosa and Tim Thomas will play huge minutes. Clips count on Maggette and Radmanovic for outside shooting.
Bench
Neither coach has a lot of postseason experience, although Mike Dunleavy coached the Lakers in the 1991 Finals.
Coaching
Phoenix might be tired, but the Suns have home-court advantage. That could be the difference. (Ask the Lakers.)
Intangibles
Bottom Line: L.A. has a chance because it takes care of the ball and is very good inside. But Phoenix has Nash, a roster full of shooters and home court. Suns in 7. Suns

I'm still sour from the Lakers losing too
I hope the Clippers win though. I really really dislike Raja Bell after the whole deal with him and Kobe. I dislike Tim Thomas too. The guy is a nobody all season and then all of a sudden thinks he's such a great player because of his playoff performance.
Get em Clippers!
