ok so i was hanging out till like 1:30am and im driving home on reseda ( 818 ) and i saw a lot of cops out that night so i made it a point of driving 41mph and this cop gets behind me im like wtf theyre gonna light me up for my exhaust most likely so i keep going and the cop gets the side of me and is like you in a hurry? im like no why? he says youre speeding do you want me to give you a ticket right now? slow down! In my head im like WHAT THE ****! i swear these cops must be really bored i was going 41 mph for gods sake!

dude this really pissed me off i just had to vent sorry

 

remember that ***** in the g35 auto, u asked him if he wanna run ur Z and he said nah ill run against that tC tho.

I got pulled over yesterday for not having my seat belt on right, it was under my arm, when he told me he was going to give me a ticket for not having a seat belt on i said that was bull-s**t. he told me to sign the ticket now or he was going to go over my car and look for any other violations...i did. dumb cop didnt even notice i had no front plate..that torrance pd for you. i will fight this ticket

 

There must be a crackdown on Z's or something, i was followed twice on the 91 in the past month, at least a mile on the fwy and then all the way up the offramp and then when i think he's finally going to pull me over, the chp went back on the highway. Probably looking for anything obvious to give me a ticket.

 

No problems for Z's in Tennessee. My only advice would be to not give the Police a reason to ticket you. Good luck.

 

cops love to harrass us imports but when it comes to domestics they let them slide, some acquantance i know has a Z06 Corvette straight piped so CHP pulls next to him and was like dont lie to me are u running straight pipe he's like yeah theyre like rev that sh*t up and started cheering !!!???!!! you know if u were an import thats straight referee and impound

 

I have noticed a considerable amount of police activity here in PA. I was on my way to work at the stereo store this past Saturday and I was on a highway close to home (PA RTE 100) and I noticed a cop of to the side of the road. As I got closer there were 15 cruisers all lined up end to end, all from different townships. They would ID their targets, and pull them over, Next cop in line did the same, sorta like rapid fire pigs. Its almost to the point that I am nervous about having a mug of froth anywhere but home.

 

well, at least that Z06 has STOCK pipe while you have aftermarket pipe.

 

This is one reason why i hate my Z and imports in General we are all targets. I guess its time for me to buy a C6 or something

 

i think it has to do more with the way we drive. Some time i see some guy drives a stock Z and the attitude very cocky. Frankly, our Z is nothing compare to other import car. It is not all that.

Cops are almost all on a powertrip. They like rolling behind you or next to you, giving you the "black and white fever" unless they have something better to do. All they really want is for you to respect their authority.

They just want to feel superior.

Thank god I live in Los Angeles where sports cars are a dime a dozen and $100k cars are as common as camry's. It means I don't stand out and I'm grateful for that. 9 years driving & no tickets, one violation for public urination (in Salinas, judge dropped the case)

 

I drove around for past 7 months with expired tags and was paced on atleast 4 or 5 occasions, luckily they never pulled me over.

Maybe I'm just delusional but I think the cops on my route to work know me and just pace me to let me know I was speeding but then let me go.

Oh finally put the tag on, i forgot.

 

I got pulled over 3 times for not having a front license plate. Cops can nibble on my sphincter.. I have a front plate now and it's ugly as hell

 

i hate those stupid no front plates. arg...but yet we still dont learn ahah

 

i got 2 "no front license plate" tickets this month alone. i am soo pissed. i just bought a zee-bracket, but i aint happy at all about it. it's not like i was speeding or street racing!

 

why pissed? you know it it is illegal to drive without front license but choose not too. DUH
