I have to agree. I actually enjoyed the movie and was not disappointed. They seem to have tooken out all the cheesy lines from the radio commercials. A LOT of eye candy in the movie.

You know I think it is funny how so many members are saying it is "Rice" and it is going to suck. I bet all of those guys watch it and love it and have the other two movies at home. When someone tries so hard to avoid something you know they are staying in the closet about something.

I came into the movie with a moderate expectations and somewhat of an open mind....and compared to the first two movies, it would be safe to say that this one is much better. I thought the second one was a joke, and the first one was cliche and a double edged sword for the industry. Not to say that either of the movies arent a double-edged sword for the industry, but yeah....if you're in the industry, you will know what Im referring too. I think with the better consultants and drivers involved in Tokyo Drift, its pretty evident how much of positive impact they made to the film.
Should you watch it? Hmm....Its not an emmy winner, but its if you like the scene and the carss.....its amusing, has eye-candy and offers good entertainment...if you get my "drift"

Second one was terrible, damn mitsubishi commerical!~ first one was okay...this will probably par up with one. I DISLIKE that actor in the first one....what's his name? THAT's how much I dislike him.

I actually liked it a lot! I was impressed with the screenplay in this one, I think the writer did a damn good job, not just race movie, but actual storyline to back it up. If you like anything about cars, I can safely say it's a movie worth watching

Couldn't agree with you more... And I'm a movie watcher by nature anyways... so if I feel I might like it, I'll go watch it...
How many times have you mentioned Titanic and everyone states they've never seen it.. it's one of the best sellers of all time so that contradicts why no one seems to have watched it.. yet when you throw some random Titanic quote, everyone seems to know the next line...
Hypocrites I say.. I know I'll enjoy the movie tonight.. if not Tokyo Drift, it'll be the 10pm showing of Nacho Libre!!

F&F 3 Tokyo Drift
I got out of Cisco Class early in Glendale, Went to Terra Bella in H.B.
Got a $7 ticket as SR, went in and Got a medium Popcorn and a Medium Coke.
( The medium drink was a dated F&F3 6.16.06 )
Went up to the last row, and sat in the corner. Three asian girls came just before the show started. The last girl was so cute, I spurted out "damn". She sat next to me and asked to share my popcorn. Her friends moved over to the our side, and had popcorn too... They spoke vietnamese quitely between them, they were quite polite as I understand more vietnamese than I can speak. She addressed me as Uncle.. The film rolled, and Ko Kim liked most the black "Hip Hop" guy.
A good diversion, F&F 3 - I used to work in Tokyo and Kobe. The plot was
humorus, not too plausable, but for American's it should be adaquate.
At least there was a plot. The chase scene where the racers come off the expressway and onto Showa Dori does not show the large Dip for drainage that would put the cars in front lobby of the Ginko (bank) there. Cars are on the left in Japan... Might have been shot in L.A.
The place in the film where the cars tear through the largest intersection of Tokyo and the crowd parted, is pure B.S. The overhead shot was needed to create that illusion. I guess the best was a clip of a fast car running on the WanGan expressway. I guess most was chalked up to "Artistic Liecense".
Cheers Amy -

just came back and i can say Hollywood did a much greater job on this one and it made part 1 and 2 look like total jokes...but i did enjoy the chicks OMG that one pale *** girl who hung out with the tall fobby guy with long hair part of the main character and Bow Wow's group shes a cutie... loved the cars and i guess you can say theres a story compared to the previous
wats funny is now a bunch of people will now assume japan is like that but that is far from the truth ive been to Tokyo a few times and they really dont have much fixed up cars out there (mostly benz's/ bimmers and mini cars), my bro married a woman from mid-south Japan and theyre all into that
but overall i think it was worth watching for the girls/ cars
