Well if you guys check on one of the 909 threads you will see that I to am unhappy with M1/DTM Autohaus and the work they did to my car. I've been trying to get an appointment to get back in there and get a lot of things fixed on the paint, but the one thing that really makes me mad is they broke a plastic piece on the interior of the car, my driver side rear view mirror has no power and they broke the little piece on my battery cover that holds it in place and since I only drive my car on certain days I didn't realize the battery cover until I detailed my engine and I know it was them because when I went to go see the car I saw the cover on my passenger seat and I haven't even touched it in I don't know how long??? My rear view mirror too, they're set to me and when I let my brother drive it he tried to set the mirrors for him and it wouldn't work! The interior plastic I noticed right away. For what I paid I shouldn't have any problems with damn car oh and as for the paint, I could go on for days with that. This shop came highly recommended and I have seen some of there past work and it makes me sad that my car was one of the few to come out the way it did. But hey if you guys want to hear about the flaws in my paint let me know and i'll be happy to post

lolz ^^ poor rick..

heres the thing. everyone is going to have different reviews from these shops because everyone is getting their stuff done at different times and therefore there are different people working on their stuff, different time constraints, etc. the time is the big one. allot of times these shops want/need to make money soo bad that they will take on waaay too much work than they can handle, therefore things get rushed, negligence occurs, and paint does not get done the way it should.

that is why you get people saying theyve gotten good, and some saying theyve gotten terrible work.

As for mob, i can personally vouch for multiple Zs ive seen go in there and come out with huge paint match issues, and crappy no effort body work..

M1 i have no personal experience but i have seen and talked to people who did.

And rick that sucks they seem like they dont really care if they have customers that return or not

because I will definity will not go back if a company or shop is going to try and rip me off

Well I was remommended to Alex and could never manage to get him on the phone.

If there great to work with then they lose alot of business by the people running the front, because everyone that goes there has to go through them first.

Went to MOB works today got my estimate. Not bad for the work I want done they know all the kits that are out there and they get everything for me. Insurance work is a little less than expected not even enough to cover my deductible of 1k. There is an AEM 350Z that's being worked on looks crap right now but I'm sure it will look great after they are done with it. Anyways, facility looks so-so but they are working on some nice looking cars in the back. I just might go ahead and get the work done over there. I'll keep you guys posted.

i recently got my spoiler installed there, very professional and great price. I actually know Alex from back in the days in High School. He's a great guy but is kind of busy running around from store to store. I don't know know about how bigger projects would be, but from my first experience they're pretty good.

im trying out fleet color next week, im optimistic. Just dropped my kit off for prep, before i leave the car there to get it painted. Ive seen other cars and they do a good job.

it just seems like no bodyshop does a consistently good job of color matching.
