Shaved = no door handles at all.

Default I understand

I do not know if i will go that far but for me, the door handles of the Z are the least attractive part of the design. I think it chaepens a beautiful design and makes it look like a rice rocket ie wannna be civic street car.

How do the door handles cheapen the look? It just makes the Z more unique. They look simple, and elegant. Not overly done. To me they enhance the look, and add even more unique-ness to an already unique car. They are one of my favorite parts of the look of the car.

Default different opinion

I totally understand how you could like the door handles and I wished i did like them but to me they look trendy and cheap rice boy racer that will appeal to more of lets say the guy that likes Trans-am cladding rather than a clean look. I love the look of something along the line of a 911 porche and not something like a Sub. WRX or mach 1 with hood scoop. That does not make my taste better than anyone elses and I am sure i am in the minority on this issue but never the less, it is my least favorite parts of the car. I can tell you how much it affects me in that i ordered a redline (sight unseen, no Z's availible at that time) and when i finally saw one 2 weeks before my Z was to be delivered, i cancel that order and went and ordered a SS instead. Why? Simple, when i look at a 350Z that is not CS or SS, the first thing I see is those big silver looking handles that stick out and disrupt the lines of the car to me. At least with my SS, it blends in better. Hey, maybe i should start a poll to see how many Z owners like those handles or not. I bet over 90% love them unlike me. I think i will do it!
