About $800 installed I think.. It came default on my Z. The plus is that it lowered my monthly insurance payment by approximately $50, which is alot.

Man la puente is ghetto. I remember going up there to watch a movie with this chick for the first date. and I parked at the mall in the first parking space next to the movie theatre in broad daylight and came back out and someone broke into my car. stole my pager (back in the day), my jacket, and my backpack with all my books in there. Good thing it was my civic and not my Z. Long story short....La puente is ghetto.

Sorry to hear that man. As the current Z gets older and it goes into 2nd/3rd ownership, we will see more parts and cars stolen.

Btw, La Puente is not a good place to park your car.

Most police cars have lojack sensors in their car. When the lojack is activated and a police car is near by, a little alarm will beep with a meter show how close you are to the stolen car. The closer he is to your car the more the meter and beeping will occur.
