Hey anybody here know where to get like 93 octane or higher gas around Arcadia or Diamond Bar area. For you guys that add higher octane but are still NA, do you notice better performance, albeit a slight one?
Thanks guys,
Ted

Thanks John,
La Habra and what street? Fullerton or Harbor? Sorry I'm not really familiar with that station. Is 100 only useful if im FI , or will I feel a noticeable difference. Any other stations around here?
Thanks,
Ted

Fullerton Rd. and Harbor are the same street. The Unocal station is about 3 blocks west of Harbor on the north side La Habra Blvd. La Habra Blvd. turns into Central Ave. in Brea so if you're coming from DB take Brea Canyon Rd. south into Brea and turn right on Central. FYI... $4.9999 per gallon last time I looked.

Hey Rick,
I was just wondering if using a higher octane gas would be beneficial for my car, like smoother running engine. I know i won't get any HP gains, but since work pays for gas, why not. I just remember my maxima used to run better when we had 93 octane in Cali, its still OK using 91. but not as smooth as it used to be.

Yeah, go up diamond bar till you hit temple, turn right on temple until you come to dead end (about 20-30secs). Then at dead end you make right and go past about 2-3 stop signs. You'll see it on your left hand side right by the firestation.
I think you can just go up to GoldenSpring as well, might save you like .5 miles.. It's right past Old Pomona St. by Graziano Pizza / Blockbuster / Albertson if you know where that is...
Let me go check out tonight when I go home on what octane.. I gotta pick up my dry clean anyways haha... I'll post later tonight..

Hey Vicynax , its not that bad for 100 , i'll mix in half and half and see how that works out. I'll go there tonight and check it out. I doubt it will give me any gains, but maybe it'll make the engine run smoother.
Thanks Wired 24/7 for letting me know its ok to mix. I'll let you guys know how everything turns out.
