Josh... you're a good guy, but your website has like... WAY too many spelling/grammatical errors.

Including "Infinity," (it's Infiniti), Suv's --> SUVs. Van's --> vans

Sometimes you say paints instead of paint's.

The only other thing is the way you describe clay bar... it removes "toxins" ? That sounds a little BS. Toxins are a biological thing, you should get rid of that word.

Just trying to help.

Mike

How can you detail a car without clay barring it? That should not be an extra charge.

Easy. I do it all the time. You only need to claybar once a year.

You should not clay bar your car everytime you detail it. Once a year as stated above is average.

Hey Mike,

Thanks for pointing out my grammatical errors.... i was actually going to have my sister go over the site to point all that out to me, i feel retarded i spelled infiniti with a 'Y' hahahaha ;] anyway yes I will take the word 'toxins' off and replace it with 'contaminants' Thanks again for your advice... i appreciate it.

Well easy.. If someone doesn't want their car clay barred i don't do it... Not everyone thinks a detail consists of a clay bar before wax... basically clay bar will strip ALL wax off a car, what if that person wanted a coat of wax applied to their car only? What if they got their car clayed already and they don't NEED the clay again? Basically you should clay your car as needed, if you clayed your car 3 days ago and parked it outside where someone was painting a house and your car got over spray on it, it would need to be clayed again even though it was just done 3 days ago. I would suggest that everyone gets their car clayed if it needs it because it makes a world of difference.

Hey,

The maintenance detail would probably take about 4 hours or so. I do work on the weekends so let me know if you'd like me to come to your place to take care of your car. :] All I require is you have a hose/power outlet for my porter cable, I will supply the shade if you don't have any.

IMO, if you just wash and wax, thats called.... a wash and wax, not a de. For me, detailing consists of stripping down the old wax with dishwashing soap, then claybar, use a porter cable to buff out the swirls, use the porter cable to apply the polish, wash the car again, use some kind of sealant like Klasse, and then topping it off with carnauba wax.

I don't just wash and wax the car... in the 'basic' detail i use a cleaner/polish/wax product by meguiars #66 to be exact... that is an all in one product which works great for the price i'm charging. Basically it cleans the paint polishes it and applies a carnuba wax all in one with my porter cable. I detail the exterior trim/tires/wheels as well as vacuum/dash treatment and treat your door panels.

Now if you are talking about removing swirls from your paint that is done in my highest package... That takes 6-8 hours and no detail from a car wash shop will do that for 125 dollars, that's for sure. Basically that package consists of wash>clay>dual action polish #83 > speed glaze #80>synthetic sealant #21 followed by all the exterior trim and interior etc.. removing the swirls is removing the paint... That's the only way to remove scratches.

one more thing.... clay bar strips wax.... so i would avoid using dish wash soap as that's not meant for cars... I've gone to a few meguiars classes regarding detailing and they say to avoid using dish wash soap due to the chemicals they use.
