Default Big surprise or what?

My car went into performance nissan for service today. Everything was pretty good/satisfactory until I got my car back. My iPod that was connected to my Alpine headunit wasn't in the cubby hole. I searched my entire car and then told the service manager and he said he would get in contact with me monday after investigating the whole thing. i thought i could be the one to come out with something positive to say about them, but this is just another nail in the coffin for performance nissan.

Sorry to hear. Who was your service advisor? The last guy I dealt with was a total *****...I forget his name, but that won't stop me from going there. If I get him again next time, I'll request to speak to someone else. The other service advisors are pretty cool. One time I even got a free synthetic oil change since they ended up taking a long time--and I didn't even complain at all! The service advisor just came up to me and she told me she appologized for the long wait, and that she would go ahead and not charge me for anything!

But good luck with your situation. Keep us posted.

keep us posted on the outcome of your missing Ipod. I am about to spend a few Gs to get some work done there. If they jerk their customers around, then we may need to take the business else where.

Sorry to hear.. hope everything works out... But just an advice, even if u are going to be outside of your car for 10 secs while someone else is going to be in it, take all your valuables out... people these days are just not trustworthy =(

I was at Performance Nissan 2 days ago to get Popcharger filter.
I didn't get my car get serviced since the ownership changed,
and when I was inside service department, there was this weird vibe
that I never felt before.
It was just strange. It didn't feel as lively as before, and seemed like
everyone was serious, like their back was being watched.
Who is this service advisor you dealt with? I've noticed there
was this one new old and skinny advisor that looked like he didn't belong there at ALL.

why would u leave ur ipod in the car in the first place? i think anyone who sees that inside the car would be tempted to take it. regarding their service, i went and complained to them about my clutch making too much noise and they were like, it's suppose to be like that...

When I was there on Fri, I saw what looked like a random homeless guy walk out of the service department. If he was an actual employee, he didn't look very professional.

Take all your **** out of your car before services/car washes/any time you won't be there because some people are shady! I've had quarters picked out of my car at the Duarte Mitsubishi when I had my eclipse serviced years ago...i still remember...**** that!

Oh wow, that really sucks. Ive spoken with our service director and he said that he will reimburse you for the iPOD. I cant believe these kinds of things still happen, Ive seen some of the dumbest things happen and this is definitely one of them. unfortunately we only have one person here from our department on Saturdays, he can only do so much of checking up on the car. Sorry to hear about it.
