Default need a roomate in hermosa area

Hey guys, I've been searching for the last week for a house/condo in Hermosa area to rent. I start my new job at sony in culver city on monday and the commute will be way too far for me. So thought I'd take a stab and ask if anyone out there needs a roommate. I'm looking for a place that I'll have my own room and shower, as well as 1 garage spot for one of my cars. My budget is at most 950/month. Probably a slim chance but thought I'd ask. I feel kinda skeptical about moving in with someone I found on craigs list. Thanks.

My Z will most likely stay at my parents, however undecided about that.

Ed thanks for the offer, but that drive would be kinda far, plus i'm a bit of a beach bum. Looking for near long beach/hermosa/redondo.

And to the neighbors....They'd probably think, "those fools pound a$$"!

for $950 and those requirements, you're better luck trying El Segundo , or South Redondo beach..

hermosa will be extremely hard, especially the garage spot since hermosa doesnt have alot of these apartments with garages..

+1, by the way i forgot to mention my place was in redondo beach, not hermosa. Anita Street & PCH just past the land rover dealership.

you'll get more bang for your buck in south redondo, plus more chances of 2-car garages and plenty of space for guest parking.

if you live in hermosa and want to invite guests, forget about it.

I have a buddy who's really into cars also and will be moving to Hermosa area in the next couple months. You really should get a subscription to Westside Rentals and Southbay Rentals... i was able to find a sweet single in Manhattan Beach for $1000 a month with a great garage...just 3 blocks from the beach and the pier. If you're sharing, you should have no problem finding something cool for your price range.

for a single....yes very hard, but with a roomate, not so hard for the cost. Now for the garage, dont know how hard that is to come by...

you should get a WestSideRentals.com or Southbayrentals.com account...

it helped me find my place.

there are a ton of places for rent in El Segundo off Grand Ave.

damn if you would've asked a little sooner. i was looking for a roomate also. i just signed a year lease the first week of this month. good luck on the search though.

working in culver, you might want to find a place closer to the freeway, the closest one would be the 405 at inglewood and manhattan beach blvd.
