need a roomate in hermosa area
Hey guys, I've been searching for the last week for a house/condo in Hermosa area to rent. I start my new job at sony in culver city on monday and the commute will be way too far for me. So thought I'd take a stab and ask if anyone out there needs a roommate. I'm looking for a place that I'll have my own room and shower, as well as 1 garage spot for one of my cars. My budget is at most 950/month. Probably a slim chance but thought I'd ask. I feel kinda skeptical about moving in with someone I found on craigs list. Thanks.

My Z will most likely stay at my parents, however undecided about that.
Ed thanks for the offer, but that drive would be kinda far, plus i'm a bit of a beach bum. Looking for near long beach/hermosa/redondo.
And to the neighbors....They'd probably think, "those fools pound a$$"!

hermosa will be extremely hard, especially the garage spot since hermosa doesnt have alot of these apartments with garages..

you'll get more bang for your buck in south redondo, plus more chances of 2-car garages and plenty of space for guest parking.
if you live in hermosa and want to invite guests, forget about it.

I have a buddy who's really into cars also and will be moving to Hermosa area in the next couple months. You really should get a subscription to Westside Rentals and Southbay Rentals... i was able to find a sweet single in Manhattan Beach for $1000 a month with a great garage...just 3 blocks from the beach and the pier. If you're sharing, you should have no problem finding something cool for your price range.

damn if you would've asked a little sooner. i was looking for a roomate also. i just signed a year lease the first week of this month. good luck on the search though.
working in culver, you might want to find a place closer to the freeway, the closest one would be the 405 at inglewood and manhattan beach blvd.
