hey guys i was at LACR tonight and there was a scale there, so i decided to weigh my car, well i have a 06 base with a cf hood, no spare and jack. and my car weighed in at 3175, is this for real or is the scale F'ed up?

some people have reported that the 06 weights given by nissan are on the heavy side. Anyways what did you run the quarter in up there?

 

How much gas did you have? That nismo wing probably gave ya xtra 25 pounds, damn thing is heavy I have one too.

 

I think he is more interested in why the car was so light. An 06 base has a curb weight of 3339. I think the only way to test the scale would be to weigh another Z right after. Maybe thats the excuse I needed to come up to palmdale. The curb weight of by car is 3245 and I have no spare and TPs. So If my car was around the same weight as your then Nissan is full of it. If my car was way lighter than the scale is off.

14.1 at lacr is pretty good.

 

that is very good for LACR at 2700 feet.

 

i really want to break 13s tho. i figure if i get lsd it would help

 

who things lsd will get me into 13s. even a stock lsd from any other z?????????

 

what was ure 60' on that 14.1 run. and 1/8 mile trap and time?
