hello socal.. i am putting on some rims on my car, without tpms. the tire light in my dash and the thing will keep beeping right? thats what happened when i had a flat. how do u disable this?
From what I read from researching this is that the light will just go on and stay on. The only thing is when you store your stock rims you have to put it away from where you park your car or else it'll start reading it and itll go off. I'm going through the same thing with my volks. There's a guy that can make the tps bands for you I can PM you his info after I ask him goodluck. BTW what kind of rims you putting on ?

i have TE37, i just searched too, and itll fit. but its a hassle.... taking tpms off my stockers and putting it in the volks... cuz the z is my only car. and can only fit 2 rims at a time? if im lucky. and i dont have a tire machine at home. sigh, only if i had my z and some beater accord or camry.. lol

mine comes on and stays on immediately after i start my car. im getting the tps sensors banned on my Volks when i get a chance.
Question though,
Is there a way to tell which sensor came off which stock wheel after they've been taken off???? Can i take them to a dealer and have them tell me or do i just have to get them recalibrated???

You can try something. I know this works with RX-8s and it doesn't hurt to try. Unplug the contol unit. Here is a picture of where the unit is under the dash behing the cup hold where a glove box is in any other car. BTW putting the sensors in thw trunk does nothing unless you can put them inside of something with 35 psi.
I have a question somewhat related to this topic. I recently had my car repaired, and one wheel was replaced from the accident. So I have one brand new wheel/tire, and when I start my car and check my tire pressure reading, it gives me all the pressure readings for 3 of my tires, except for 1, which I of course assume is the new replaced wheel. But instead of having the TPS warning light go off, I just get a ----- bar for that one wheel. Does this mean that new wheel doesn't have a TPS in it? I already asked my shop to order me another TPS for the replaced wheel.
