Default Anyone in OC know of any good places to have a wedding reception?

looking for a good banquet hall to hold 200+ people.

just wondering if anyone knew of good places.. (and hopefully wont break the bank)

my total budget for the reception would probably be $10-12k

My best friend's reception was in Orange Hill. That was a nice place. How many people do you plan on inviting? I think the total that you spend on the reception would depend on the number of people, cost per plate, and location. I mean you can have a filet mignon dinner with 200 people or chicken/ fries with 800 guests that would both equal to your budget. Have you gone to any bridal shows to check out the vendors?

Here are some OC restaurants to get you started on your search.

Wedding reception in the paddocks of Buttonwillow? It'll be cheap at $5k a day and you can have a track day.

J/K, Congrats Cheston.

My fiancee and I are getting married at Pacific Hills.

It had the available dates and was within our budget (similar to yours at $15K-$20k).

The places we checked out and debated about:
Close second: Summit House Restaurant in Fullerton Close second b/c of the distance from the church.
Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado Canyon
Center Club in Costa Mesa (by the Perf. Arts Ctr.)
Orange County Mining Company On the hill next to Orange Hill but might not fit 200.
Orange Hill Restaurant - Good spot but was expensive
Rancho Capistrano Great location. But friends of ours are getting hitched there on Aug 11.

You should also search wedding sites such as www.theknot.com and the wedding chanel...

Wow pretty modest budget for a wedding with over 200 guests, considering how modded your car is, I'd say your low ballin! J/P I'm looking around for a place myself right now.

No better place than Vegas!...I had it at the then Alladin a year ago. Shoe horned 100-150 guests at the chapel and took 80 or so back to my High Roller Suite for the aftermath. Spent around $8K for everything including 20 rooms for my guests. Consider it!
