Default Anyone need their taxes done? *Feeler*

I have been preparing returns for some of you on the boards now for a few years. I want to put a feeler out there to see if anyone would be interested in my services this year

While every return is different, your very basic tax return will be around $75 while most end up being around $150 or so with typical income/deduction items. Extensive Schedule C, Schedule D (capital gains), and more complex transactions will increase the cost of your return (PM me).

If you are unsure you need a professional to do your return, or if you have basic questions and would like to discuss your situation in depth, shoot me a PM.

Hey, this year I sold a house in Oregon, bought a house in California, and my wife and I both switch jobs because of the move. We're definitely getting help with our taxes this year.

Is this what you do for a living or are you just good at it?

Yep thats no problem. May cost a little extra because of what you have going on (and an out of state return).

I did taxes as a 9-5 for 8 years before moving into a different accounting job. I've been doing taxes for family, friends and board members on the side for the last few years and I am one class shy of having my Masters in Taxation. I think I know what I'm doing

I'm sure I could dig up some references for you if you really want

Yes if your income is less than 100k and you meet all the other criteria for filing 1040ez, you can do this.

A simple return like yours would cost $75.

*Bump* I've already done a few returns for some of you guys and am always looking to do more so PM me if you are on the fence about seeing a professional.

If you have something new going on this year, I'd recommend you hire someone to do your taxes. Little mistakes can cost you much more than the fee you will pay!
