stock exhaust fits in the Z, just make sure to bag or cover up with a blanket and carefully set them inside.

hmm.. good question. I do my own installs, but I personally wouldn't shove any filthy exhaust part in my z. I'd make sure it's wrapped in newspapers and duct tape.

Might as well install the new exhaust yourself then.

I did my install at my friends house. Afterwards I came back in my Altima. I put the back seats down and feed everything through the trunk. My HKS however fit just fine in my Z so I would imagine with some creative positioning you could get the stocks back in too.

+1 it fits man. Put the muffler in the rear most compartment toward the bumper and the piping near the seat section diagonally.

he wasn't asking how or where to install it, he was asking how to transport the stock one after getting new one installed.

Cool. Thx for the feeds. I guess i'm goin to have to stack the stockers in the car somehow..

BTW: I would install the exhaust myself, but since i'm going to do a single custom exhaust. I need to go to a shop and have them bend the pipes and fit the gaskets and all that crap so.
THX
