Default how much does nissan charge to change a headlight bulb?

so i was driving home last night, bulb went out, bought another thinking it'd be an easy process then found out otherwise!

any idea how much it would cost? only reason i ask is the stupid POS manual says, "for replacement, take to a nissan dealer."

gay.

thanks guys

You can do it yourself. Just take off the bumper and you will have access to the lights.

sometimes you dont even have to do that, either take off the wheel or if it'll work turn the wheels so you can access the wheel well. I think taking off the wheel method is easier if you have a hydraulic jack though.

Maybe my brain hasn't woken up yet, but I thought the headlight area was sealed? It's not?

Can someone please remind me why people were "baking" their headlights...

They're baking them to seperate them to either paint them or modify them somehow.

If you can't change your own head-light, you need to find the nearest paper shredder and immediatly chuch your man-card in it.

you're funny bro.

really, you are.

i've changed out the whole headlight assembly on my previous car which was a car from the 80's.

i'm sure i could change it, but after QUICKLY GLANCING at things last night, i thought it'd be more trouble than its worth.

thanks for the remark though, i somewhat chuckled.

You don't even have to take off the bumper. Jack up the car, put on jack stands. Take off wheel, inside there are 3 snap on plugs that attach the plastic housing to the car. Take those off. There maybe 2 screws on the bottom, I'm not sure if you need to take those off, but after that, pry open the black plastic housing and reach up. You should be able to get to all the light bulbs.
