Sometimes it pays to be OLD
I was pulled over by a torrance mc cop yesterday. he ask me for my dl and reg. and was this my car. He told me why he pulled me over, you have dark tint on your windows, dark overlays on your break lights, no front plate, stelth cover on your back plate, lowered, too loud. I told him i have had the car for more than 41/2 years with no problem from any local pd, and if needed would remove the tints. He looked at me and said i really thought you were a kid...you can go. Im sure if i was a KID i would have received a ticket. So sometimes it pays to be OLD

tinted windows, no front plate and rolling through a stop with just a warning.
There are advantages to being old, but I'd rather be 22 again.

I'll be 49 in April and scare myself sometimes with how and what I'm prepared to drive and mod these cars! I think I am crazier than my sons who drive them. I know there are plenty who don't understand why guys our age do what we do, but who gives a ****! I'm still expecting to get stopped one day for exactly the reason you give and hopefully will get my earned pass as well.

On the road my car gets eyeballed by cops all the time. Then they look at the driver, do not see a kid, and move on. It must be the big tips on my Fuji exhaust!

haha. Age probably has nothing to do withit. It must've been cuz it was you! It's you and your great voice, Tom Jones! hahaha.
When I got pulled over, it was always for speeding on fwys.... they always seem to materialize out of no where. I'd never been pulled over for the bat's tails (same darkness as yours - since you gave me your spare!) when I had my Z. The exhaust?? hey, I even had the cats removed once with the single out exhaust... one time I was rolling rite next to a TPD but I was fine. I think it also depends on the mood of the cops at the time.
