You were speeding, you got caught, now get over it. I love how internet forums are littered with posts about people thinking that somehow the law does not apply to them. "How dare they ticket me for a traffic infraction! I am an enthusiast!".

^ ok 7 mph over the limit at 1130 pm with no cars around? i dunno how it is in charlottesville considering yall probably have 10 people in your city but in los angeles going 7 mph over the limit usually doesnt warrant a ticket. when the hell did i said i should be above the law because im an enthusiast? dont put words in my mouth

I thought he was doing 72 in a 70. If it was 65 then I understand.

^^^
They could give you a 71 in a 70 if they wanted to. Its still speeding.

Last time I checked, speeding meant the same thing in every state.

So that law is only in effect if they are X number of cars on the road? Oh, I forgot, you live in California. Face, you broke the law, got caught and now you're crying about it and looking for sympathy. How pathetic.

But thats the thing... although it may be true, its not something the cops HAVE to abide by.

I've had my fair share of tickets I thought were BS but in the end, they were still my fault.

crying about it? looking for sympathy? im just venting my frustration on the SOCAL FORUM. i dont say im above the law but being a veteran with a purple heart license plate, they usually dont pull you over for doing 7mph over the limit on the socal fwys.

I'm now the slowest car on the road. I go maybe 2 miles over the speed limit. You have to understand, Zs get profiled and targeted like crazy. I speed 7-10 over in my Altima and the cops don't even take their eyes off of their donuts.

My wife currently resides in El Monte, and speeding is speeding like they say..although I have been on the 605 doing 85 with all the other cars around me doing the same thing and a cop came from behind passing us all. Dosent matter though. When you speed, EXPECT a ticket.

and like i said i dont believe i was even going that fast given that i was going the same speed as everyone else if not slower because my exit was coming up. I like how youre critical and say expect a ticket yet you admit to going 85 on the 605 fwy.
