What up fellas, new high desert z owner here, had my 07 silver alloy for a month now, it'd be cool to meet up one of these days.....hopefully somewhere other than Friday rice night at Lowes parking lot though....

Anyway, saw a nice z getting on the 15 north from bear valley tonight around 9:15insh... that nice desert silver color with what looked to be 20's and dropped....was that one of you?

Cool man, welcome. As for rice night at Lowes, you will NEVER find us there. We have our own little meet. I was thinking of the second week on next month but some people can't make it on Fridays so I'm looking towards Sunday Aug. 23rd but its not set in stone.

What's up guys, I'm planning on making a banner for next months meet. Do you guys want to keep the meet small with just the Z/G guys and close friends or do you want me to extend it out to the 240 crowd as well?

Orangeflash and I installed the Tanabe GF210's. I think it gives it a nice drop. Very dip/driveway friendly. The install wasn't to bad either.

That does look pretty nice, how low is the drop? I really don't wanna go over an inch, I will eventually upgrade shocks, but hoping not to have to right now... I'm on 20's, and already have negative camber issues on the rear tires with stock springs, so I'll have to get a camber/toe kit for the rear regardless..... I'm leaning towards the eibach pro kit, here's a pic from another member of this forum with my exact wheels and the pro kit, that's as low as i wanna go...

The drop was 1.0" front and 1.2" rear.

The pro kit is only 1.0" front and rear right? I guess it just looks a lot lower than 1 inch in that picture.

Also I had my car aligned and it is barely in the specs. I need to get a rear camber kit, so I can get it back to normal.

Yeah I definately think your drop is a little lower, it's the bigger wheels that make the eibach look lower, but if look at the distance betweem fenders and the ground rather than wheel gap, I think they're pretty close...

Believe me, I don't wanna be too low, an inch might be pushing it, I'm also considering the hotchkis .6"/.8", I'm stuck between those two, the hotchkis is a linear spring with ride quality closer to stock, the pro kit is a progressive spring that will handle a little better but ride rougher as well....

..... for DD though, I don't know. I have a hard enough time as it is to get around with my stance. I wouldn't worry much anyways, I don't drive it as often as I would like with all these projects I keep having. Its been nearly two months since I last drove it
