what do you marinate your carne asada with? i usually go to LA and hit up the local carneceria *think thats how you spell it meat stores.. but if i wanted to enhance the taste of the meat i heard add beer? or lemon? dont know if thats true but anyone have any pointers because last batch i ordered a few months back was marinated but a bit too bland.
thanks
thanks
My SPECIAL Marinade. Soy sauce, Mojo Criollo, Sazon Completo and a Beer.
Must be a light beer unless you want to taste the beer in the flavor. I have also used guiness sometimes to chage it up a little and make it more brisk.
And make sure you marinate in layers!!!! lay some meat, marinate (rub in) pour fluids, then lay another and do the same.
Cook very, very slowly, should take at least 15-25 mins for them to be done depending on preference.
ummm, now i am hungry

my mouth is all salivating thinking about it good looking out bro
I can cook. I went to school as a hobby, but I learned maninly by helping my mother. Now, carne azada, orange juice is excellent. Beer is good but the best meat makes the diference. Make sure you get real carne azada meat. In this country they call it skirt stake. Also, when cook make sure you use mesquite wood for good flavor. adding extra beer to the meat as you bq, is highly recomended. The beer is bohemia- Mexico's highest ranked

awesome george thanks bro for the tips i heard about there beer didnt know when to put it my friends usually us Corona dont know if thats ok as well
corona is cool, I think of corona like a trendy beer. Make sure your have your red chilli pouder and species when you make your rub for the meat. If you let the meat set in the rub and beer for over night marinade is also much better.
Take care,
George
