Now I don't really care about points. But, I know some of you like glowing names and would like to change others titling. I saw someone post about free points that seemed like a pyramid scheme. I've got a better idea.

The goal is to make sure everyone that participates gets points and not just the first person who posts.

Here's How it Works:

Step 1.
a) You do a search for the member who is on this membership thread.
b) You find that member's post in that result thread and give that member a point for that post.
c) You do this for 10 of that members posts which should take 2-3 minutes per member.
d) If the member started the thread, rate that members thread too.
e) You give each member the above 10 points.

Step 2. After you have done your good deed by giving the 10 points to each person, you post here to confirm you've done your duty by listing the names of those that you rewarded.

Step 3. You have earned the right to put your name to this membership thread.

Step 4. Every time you see this thread come up for a new member, every member must repeat step 1 and step 2 for that new member.

Rewards and Responsibilities:

You do not put your name up unless you're willing to take brief period of time it will take to do steps 1 - 4. If we have 21 people doing this, that's 200 points from the 20 other members.

Step 2 will allow us to keep track of the pointing. Once everyone has posted per Step 2, we can rinse and repeat. If we do this once a week, and we have 21 people, that's 800 extra points a month for each of us. And, that's not including the extra points you get if your thread was rated because you started the thread.

So, who wants a glowing name?

Oh, and a few more things.

1. I'm going to limit membership to some finite number. I don't want to spend time to rate 50 members.

2. If you are not fulfilling your duty you will be removed from the membership roster.

3. And, I will be monitoring and updating the roster, and that gives me the right to get the extra points that will be generated from this thread.

Oh, and I just found this out. At the bottom of our posts is a button that says "search." Just hit this button and you find all posts by that person. Rate 10 of those hits and you're quickly done with that member.

Btw, if you click on search then click on the actual post, it speeds things up even more. I think it takes less than 90 seconds to do 10 ratings.
