Ok.. I'm fairly new to forums..... so what's the deal with these points? I see the points under the names but have no clue what they are about. Little help please

 

SizongZ, points allows you to buy things from the store. Nothing material, just forum stuff.

supposedly you can buy things like making your name glow, and giving other people titles. but the store has been down for awhile. so now it's sort of like credibility? but not. just a silly game, really....

but you have over 50 POSTS, so you can go to your user control panel and do a custom title and avatar if you want....

 

ah... ok... so how do I give points... I just tried yesterday and saw that I can only give one point at a time... but I've been seeing that people have been giving ten points.... so does that mean I have to do it ten times?

 

That's correct...the first round will take some time to get everyone their points but after that it only takes a few minutes to add someone new.

Here are some tips

If you include a link to a thread you have a lot of posts in it makes it easier for everyone else to give you your points

For Example

if you go to this thread you will find at least ten of my posts...that will make it easy to give me my ten

Also if you rate someone's post and then hit "Search" under that post, you will see a list of their posts...places to go to give them their points

 

I gave Sizong 10 points.

I like searching other users' posts - it lets me read threads I would normally pass by. That's how I found the Brickyard thread!
