Default West Covina install fee? Worth it?

Tell me if you guys think it's worth it.

I am bringing in my car for an emissions inspection(service engine soon light came on, and the guy i spoke with said its related to emissions possibly). This is all covered by my warrenty(thank goodness for buying brand new)

While it's there, i have LED parking lights i want to install. I could do it myself but i would have to research on how to install and what not. The guy i spoke with(forgot his name) quoted at $55.00. Don't get me wrong, I love West Covina hence why i'm bringing my car from Anaheim to them to get service that could be done at any dealership, but do you guys think i should do it myself or just pay the 55? Is it really hard to do or too tedious?

It's a super easy job. Save the cash and DIY.

Not worth it, but since your car is already in for service, then why not.

+1 you dont even need to remove the tire, nor lift the car. depending on what side you're installing, turn the wheels as far as possible to give you clearance to remove the splash guard/fender wheel liner. (all you need is a short phillips screw driver to remove the splash cover screw retainers)

ok. thanks for the info guys. i'll take a look at it tonight to see where all the screws are.

although if anyone has done this to an 06 or 07, anyone know how many screws exactly?

there is a post in the DIY forum but its for the 03-05 model. will it be the same?
