Shin Sen Gumi ROCKS! That's probably my favorite noodle place. Sapporo on tap too! My personal best is 3 extra servings of noodles for a total of 4... and I had to stuff that down... I order....

Medium strength soup
Firm noodles
An order of flavored bamboo..
Large Sapporo draft

The wife likes the Udon there, but they only serve it at lunch...

Shinsengumi's waiters and waitresses are too loud. It gives me a headache before I finish my meal. I mean, do they have to announce to the whole place that you're going to the can?

haha, yeah that's part of the shinsengumi experience. For those not from the south bay, they (shin sen gumi) have a shabu shabu place on artesia in gardena and their yakitori is on western and 186th, all are good, but the tonkotsu ramen is the best!
