did the city lobby against it because it draws the "wrong" crowd?

 

yeah.....we sold over 2000 pre-sale tickets....that really sucks....

 

damn the man.

 

This is also the reason why they no longer have the street legal drags at Pomona. The locals don't like the noise and since NHRA brings in more money, something had to give.

 

We were looking forward to this show. Right in our backyard. Oh well. They are not returning the service charge, just your entry fee. That sucks. Is the Extreme Autofest show still on for October 21st in POMONA or is the city going to protest this one as well? Let us know.

 

Maybe it was too "extreme" for Pomona?
