Default Teaser shot of new headlight project

Let me know what you guys think. I shaved the amber strip with a small amount of fiber glass and premium body filler. Also the lights have 3 coats of each primer, base coat, and top coat. Then each stage was wet sanded and buffed out.

instead of shaving the amber part, why didn't you just paint it black? Also I think your visibility will be bad due to painting the low beam reflector black. but so far it is looking nice.

Not good. Your lights are not bi-xenon, they need the reflectors to work well. They are not true projectors. You will have absolutly no high beam, and your regular lights will be shot for intensity. Looks good thogh.

Shaving the strip was a PITA to do. Total work on the headlight was 12 hours. If you want to black out your headlights without having to shave the orange strip then it would be pretty cheap. PM me or hit me up. Ben has my cell.

All it would cost you is paint, sealant and your time. You'll be proud of your own modification.

You need to get that top clear lens clear coated professionally and get it wetsanded and buffed out. Looks really hazy from the pics. I can tell by the glares in it.
