Any pics of the rear tail lights tinted black?

 

I've seen it, it looks allright. I wouldn't do it though.

I only did it on my '03 cuz they're not LED....

Nope thats not true, Its not illegal at all, As long you can see the lights, I have them on my 05 stocks and they are blacked out and no cops even sweat me. I just think for the money for the new lights, i guess i want people to see them. Plus i think the red makes them stand out.

^ they are illegal, u will get pulled over, there are reflectors in your tail lights, if the cop cannot see the reflectors, then he will most likely pull you over, but those dont seem to be too dark

 

Not california Buddy, Different laws, i actuallt asked a couple of CHP and they say the same. As long as they can see the lights go on they are o.k.

 

well over there in podunk-ville Connecticut they probably do but not in cali.

 

"pay" on the socal part of the forums have his tail lights smoked. Looks very nice.

u dont gotta be a ***** about it, i was just sharing the info i kno of

 

"pay"s lights are non led and blacked out and his z is silver. looks pretty much exactly how the one in the above picture looks. I actually thought that was HIS car in the pic! Except he has invadia exhaust

 

I have the 05 lights tinted, just wondered if soe has done the led lights. I just put them on, The red does look nice. they really pop, People taught i got a newer Z.

 

installed, What you think? Also my xenon lights. Car is a little dirty. Post some with later once clean

 

here's mine but its with the old style lights. 03-05yrs. Not a very good pic but its the only one I have right now.

 

i don't think you guys are reading his thread. The guy said he has 03-05 lights tinted already but he's looking to see it on 06+ LEDS since he just bought a pair.

I did read that but it seems like others would like to see the 03-05's as well. You should put up some pics here for all of us to see. I'm curious as well to what they look like.

 

Here is my '03 with tinted tail lights. I told the guy. " I don't want them BLACK! I want them dark but enough to still see the red in them...." he said "I know exactly what you mean" and yep.. he did. look

 

Yeah I want to see if theirs pics with the LED TINTED.
