Default Anyone work at or know someone who works for Raytheon?

My company is relocating us to San Diego and my wife is looking for new employment. She currently works for Boeing, but they have no facilities here (all around L.A.). Raytheon has a lot of jobs open that fits her skills. She has applied through their website, but it would be nice if we could find an employee to give her resume a little push. Thanks for any help.

-Mark

PS - if you work for any other defense contractor looking for configuration management skills, let me know.. Thanks.

Thanks for the lead. She has applied at over 50 places over the last couple of weeks. The challenge is to actually get in front of someone and we are hoping to find an "insider" to push her resume.

The chances of anybody reading her application through the company's HR portal is probably less than 1% - best suggestion is to continue on the path you're persuing. What aspect of config mgmt does she currently do? I can check with some of partners in my company about opportunities when I get home in a few weeks...

Raytheon at El Segundo had a career fair + interviews about 2.5 months ago. The HR might be still in the process of trying to get the people they want onboard from that event. So it might be a while before they look and/or contact your wife regarding her resume. Although, if your wife has a clearance it might be sooner rather than later. Good luck.
