anybody know of any good lsd install shops? i have a nismo lsd and want to get this done next week.

 

I usually get the best install quotes from corner 3 garage.

 

precision Z installed lsd for myfirst07350z a few weeks ago, I was there when they did it.

On Ingomar in Canoga Park, not too far from Burbank

Precision Z can do it. Or if you have a VLSD we can trade + cash haha.

 

WCN and PRE. Z will charge a arm, leg, and ur left nut

 

WCN may charge more but you can have total peace of mind on the install and bringing it back if something goes wrong.

If you have everything needed Precision will only charge like 350-400. And its a lot of work to make sure everything goes in right.

Installing a LSD is a PITA. Putting in and out is the easy part. Making sure that is seated correctly and having the right shims is the hard part. So yeah I would take it to a shop with very good rep.

Now if you have a complete unit with a pumpkin then it is pretty easy. You may also cut cost by removing the pumpkin and taking that to a shop and having it install.

 

They're putting my pumpkin in on Tuesday.

lol. The pumpkin is the casing that the lsd is in.That whole unit is called that. Why I don't know.

 

I have a VLSD....I also need to go to precision Z to get my 3.7 final drive installed.

 

WCN doesnt do LSD install otherwise thats where it would be going. i talked to the guy from precision Z like a month ago and he had never done a 350z nismo lsd so he didnt know how much. but 350 aint too bad. thanks for the suggestions, i think i might be taking it to kazz because well, its what they do.

 

Really Ed said he never did an lsd install? Hmm thats wierd. They had no problem doing mine.
