9/22 G's & Z's Dyno Day and UpRev raffle/demo - Church Automotive Testing
Hi All,
As discussed in another thread, Church Automotive Testing will be doing a G35/350Z Dyno Day on 9/22 at our facility in Wilmington, CA (near Long Beach). http://www.churchdyno.com
The purpose of this event is to showcase the UpRev Osiris tuning software for factory ECUs on 06 and earlier G's and Z's (and Titan's interestingly ). In addition to $45 baseline dynos (we have up to 25 slots available and there are currently 8-9 people registered at G35driver), we will also be raffling off a full Osiris dyno tune, a $600+ value. If you are dynoing your car, you are automatically entered in the raffle. We will also allow people not dynoing their car to enter the raffle for $5 (one ticket per person maximum). All we ask is that you get there before 1pm to sign up for the raffle.
We are also going to limit this event to G's and Z's only at this point. We will start dynoing at 9:30 am. This is a great opportunity to see what this new tuning package can do in a real time environment, so even if you don't want/need to dyno, stop by and check things out.
We have already tuned both NA and supercharged VQ35 cars with the Osiris package and it is awesome. Full control over fuel, ignition, cam timing, rev limits and electronic throttle openings, plus the capabilty to switch maps on the fly through your cruise control switch. On my 05 G35C 6MT, with only a Motordyne kit, we picked up 15 hp and 15 lbs-ft of torque and I have a valet map and a race gas map to boot, all accessible on the fly through the cruise control buttons. On a recent 06 350Z with a Vortech kit and exhaust, we picked up 48 hp peak and 70 hp at 7000 rpm (430 whp peak at 9 psi). The gains would have been larger had we been able to rev higher, but we were out of fuel injector. Gains that large were totally unexpected, but cam timing plays a major role in performance on the VQ's, and up until the Osiris package, we have been unable to tune that variable. The Osiris package is also compatible with your pre-existing piggyback setups (even though those things are no longer necessary for most vehicles)
Please add yourself to the signup list on this thread if you plan on dynoing your car. You don't need to signup if you're just coming by to take a look and participate in the raffle. I look forward to seeing lots of old friends again.

You get 3 pulls (maybe more sometimes we're very generous ). Wideband O2 is included, and boosted cars can get a boost plot as well as long as there is a vacuum port we can easily access.
07 cars are welcome, but the UpRev software does not have a solution for those models yet. They are working on it, but there is no projected date at this time. If you won the raffle, you could hold onto the ticket for awhile to see what happens with UpRev, and then if nothing happens soon enough, sell it to an 06 and earlier person. We'll put a 6 month window on the reflash winner.

Its a Dynapack (actually we have two). Reads the same as Hydrazine's at Motordyne (ours were sync'd when he bought his).
Sorry to hear that you might not make it Tony. Feel free to stop by anytime to check out the new software package.

So we can watch this new software in action and see the gains in person....will you be selling the OSIRIS hardware on site? If you wont carry the harware can you reccomend a reputable dealer?
WHen you say "full OSIRIS dyno tune" you mean tuning labor or for the OSIRIS hardware + tune?
Thanks for clarifying Shawn, I plan on dyno'ing as many mods as I can with you so I am glad you feel OSIRIS is a solid product to tune with
