Default Getting a car to learn manual

Where can I rent a car to learn how to drive manual? I tried driving school but they only offer auto cars. I dont want to buy a beater car, and I dont wanna ask my friend to use his car.

Thanks

Use your 350z car
I drove about 30 minutes on my friend's old corolla. Then I bought my 350z, and drove it home. And learn with my car.

Sorry dude, I don't think there's one single car rental company out there that rents out manual cars...simply b/c of the very same reason you wanted to rent one. Have you heard of 'dealer hops?' (go with a friend who knows how to drive manual and visit a used car dealership and have him drive a manual car out for a test drive, and then do the same thing at another dealership and so on...)

Hope this helps, good luck man!
btw have you gotten your Z yet?
and, I was born in Taiwan too..Peace bro =)

Depend on which dealership you go to. Most high-end vehicle dealerships like Benz, BMW, or even Lexus prob won't let you go alone, but try to find regular ones like..maybe Honda, Suzuki, Toyota or some independent used car lot etc...and btw it depends on what car you take out for test drive too.
Anyways good luck man, hope to see you get yer Z soon. =)

I was a little nervous at first but you pick it up quickly. Try driving at night while there are less cars on the road.

Hehe. I actually learned stick on my friends STi with a stage 2 racing clutch I believe, which was really hard. Then right before I got my Z practiced on a friends Del Sol, then went to the dealership to test drive the Z at Perf. Nissan.
